When it comes to the fault diagnosis of motor traction machine, because of the different structure of traction machine of various manufacturers, the technical requirements are not all the same, so it is impossible to formulate the solution to specific problems. This article only briefly summarizes some common failure phenomena, causes and troubleshooting methods.
1. Phenomenon: The horizontal vibration tolerance of the tractor, the vibration frequency is consistent with the motor speed.
Reasons: ①The uneven installation of the tractor base causes forced deformation of the base, which destroys the geometric accuracy of the tractor. ②The coaxiality tolerance of the motor shaft and the worm shaft is mainly used in the tractor of the elastic coupling seat motor structure.
Treatment method: ①Remove the rope, loosen the anchor bolts, make the tractor in a free state, and readjust the mounting surface of the tractor base. If there is a rubber plate installation structure at the bottom of the base, there is no need to take off the rope, just adjust the foot of the rubber plate to compress it. ②Recheck the coaxial adjustment of the motor and the worm.

2. Phenomenon: The motor sends out a rhythm drum, and the frequency coincides with the motor speed.
Reason: Generally, the tilting machine tilts the motor shaft forward or backward to the limit position, and the step surface of the motor shaft rubs against the bearing end of the sliding bearing.
Treatment method: adjust the base to make the traction machine in a horizontal position, or take compulsory measures to prevent the motor from moving forward and backward.

3. Phenomenon: When the tractor brakes, there is an obvious sense of impact, that Dayton.
Reason: ①The gap between the brake shoe and the brake wheel is too large, and the international regulations are less than 0.7mm. ②The axial clearance of the worm shaft is too large. ③The worm gear meshing backlash is too large, this kind of situation is easy to happen on the tractor which has been used for many years.
Remedy: ①Adjust customs clearance to standard requirements. ②Check whether the lock nut of the worm gear thrust bearing is loose. If there is no looseness, the gasket should be thinned to make the clearance meet the requirements of the factory standard. ③Various ways of worm gear center distance such as bracket, slope and eccentric, but the backlash can be adjusted to the factory requirements.

4. Phenomenon: Machine noise, indoor noise exceeds 80dB(A).
Reasons: ①The motor winding fails, causing high-frequency hum, which occurs in low-speed winding operations, and sometimes high-speed operation occurs, which is a difficult problem in motor manufacturing. ②The position of the contact point of the worm gear is deviated from the screw or the surface of the worm gear is poor (prone to occur on the surface of the shovel tooth). ③The quality of the raceway of the shaft thrust bearing is poor. ④Worm sliding bearing and thrust bearing oil block make the bearing lubrication poor. ⑤The positioning end of the thrust bearing is different from the vertical direction of the worm shaft, which makes the bearing raceway offset.
Remedial measures: ① It should be inspected and repaired by professionals. ② Adjust the contact area of the worm gear to deviate from the separation end. If the scraper is caused by a spatula, the worm should be replaced. ③ Replace qualified bearings. ④Remove the oil. ⑤ Repair or replace the bearing seat.

5. Phenomenon: The tooth surface of the worm gear wears too fast or the glue is damaged.
Reason: ①The lubricating oil is not clean. ②Improper use of lubricating oil or oil mixed oil failure. ③The gear tooth surface wears poorly. ④Low oil level
Treatment method: ①Clean the fuel tank and replace with clean new oil. ②Worm gear drive tractor should use proper worm gear oil, and different oils should not be mixed. ③The gear tooth surface should adopt the grinding process, and the surface roughness should not be greater than Ral.6. ④The oil level reaches the specified height.

6. Phenomenon: The temperature of the fuel tank is too high, approaching or exceeding 85°C.
Reasons: ①The lubrication of worm sliding bearings and thrust bearings is poor, usually due to oil or low oil level obstruction. ② The worm gear contacts one end, making the backlash too small. ③Oil failure or improper oil selection.
Remedy: ①Clean the oil and add enough oil. ② Make the contact point of the worm gear in the correct position. ③ Change the regulations of worm oil.

7. Phenomenon: The oil leakage exceeds the standard requirement of 150㎡/h at the end of the oil spill.
Reason: The shaft seal is faulty or improperly assembled.
Treatment method: ①For packaging equipment, the compression bolts should be adjusted first. If it cannot be ruled out, new asbestos ropes should be replaced. ②For the mechanical seal structure, it is generally used for dynamic, static ring deformation due to unclean end faces or poor finishing and poor assembly. Replace if damaged. ③J-type skeleton sealing device is used for O-shaped spring button or reverse direction.

8. Phenomenon: The starting brake of the tractor is slow or released.
Reason: ①The air gap of the electromagnet is too large. ②The coil power supply voltage is lower than 110V. ③The hinge shaft of the brake arm is severely corroded.
Remedy: ①Adjust the air gap to meet the design requirements. ②Increase the power supply voltage to 110V. ③ Grind the pinhole and add proper amount of oil.

9. Phenomenon: The traction wheel shakes when the elevator enters from high speed to low speed, and the cabinet vibrates, which gives a strong sense of suspension in the car.
Reason: This phenomenon is more common in two-speed elevator exchanges, and the switching time from high speed to low speed is too short.
Treatment method: appropriately adjust the control time of the time relay.

10. Phenomenon: The output voltage signal of the tachometer generator of the intermodulation traction machine fluctuates.
Reason: ①The quality of the tachometer is poor. ②The crane output shaft is coaxial with the generator shaft.
Treatment method: ① Replace a qualified generator. ② Adjust the requirements of the coaxial line (the belt drag structure is abnormal).

11. Phenomenon: When the fan does not start, the temperature of the fan and the fan reach the specified value.
Reason: ①The temperature control relay is faulty or damaged. ② The thermistor is faulty.
Treatment method: ① Repair or replace the temperature control relay. ② Directly supply power to the fan power supply to keep the fan in a normally open state.
