The drive system uses a permanent magnet synchronous gearless traction machine. Compared with the traditional worm gear and worm drive traction machine, the permanent magnet synchronous gearless traction machine has the following advantages:
1. The permanent magnet synchronous gearless traction machine is directly driven. There is no worm gear or worm drive pair. The permanent magnet synchronous motor does not have the stator coil that takes up a lot of space for the asynchronous motor. The main material for the permanent magnet synchronous motor is high energy. Permanent magnet synchronous gearless traction machine does not have the problem of tooth profile wear and does not need to replace the lubricating oil regularly, so it has a long service life and basically does not require maintenance. In the near future, if the cost problem of producing permanent magnet synchronous motors can be solved as soon as possible, permanent magnet synchronous gearless traction machines will replace the traction machines composed of worm gears and asynchronous motors.
